The project was to create a deck of cards based on something about me. Since I like sushi I decided to create cute sushi characters for each of the cards. I wanted the deck to have a cute look/style. Each sushi characters were vectored in illustrator. I used very soft Japanese water colors of hues of pink and green. To keep some of the Japanese elements in the deck, I used a Japanese brush like font for the typography. For the back of the cards I used a polka dotted pattern bucause sushi chefs used this pattern to laser cut their nori, round= cute, and I also used a lot of round or circular elements in the deck.
